So, you want to become involved with the VTC? We love fresh meat!

The Vicarious Theatre Company performs every 1st Saturday of the month at the Admiral Theatre in West Seattle. We also do a couple of annual shows at local sci-fi conventions, as well as road-trip to Portland to perform with the Clinton Street Cabaret.

How do you get involved? The first step, obviously, is to contact us and let us know. Then you can:

  • Fill out an information sheet and give it to a cast member.

  • Ask for info sheets on the part(s) you are interested in.

  • Train to be a Trannie! They're fun, and the wait is not as long as other performance roles. There is a rehearsal every 1st Saturday of the month before our normal show. Contact Holly on information regarding trannie rehearsal and costuming.

  • You can also learn how to do lights. It's one of the best ways to get involved, as we always need techies. It's also an easy way to get to know the cast and how we operate. In addition to this, you can also wear a snazzy vest, carry around a Maglight and do security for us! If this sounds appealing, contact Colleen for more information.

  • Keep coming to the show and being involved. The wait for performance roles can be daunting, especially since there’s only one show a month. But there are plenty of other ways to get involved while you wait for your opportunity. Just ask one of us how you can help.

Thank you for your interest in our group and we hope that you decide to get involved!
